If you are looking to try a new leafy green vegetable, rainbow chard is a tasty and fun option. Chard is a member of the beetroot family and is packed with vitamins A, K and C. It is considered to be a superfood.
Chard leaves can be eaten raw or cooked (the taste is less bitter when eaten raw).
An 80g serving counts as 1 portion of your 5 a day fruit and vegetables. Aim to eat 5-9 portions of fruit and vegetables a day.
Wash before use.
This product is suitable for vegetarians and vegans.
Sauté with garlic (you may prefer to remove the leaves from the stem). Upon serving, squeeze some fresh lemon over the top of the chard.
